Vuyo Zitumane

A Public Sector Renowned Turnaround Strategist, A seasoned Administrator, Coach and Mentor and a Lead Facilitator on Leadership and Governance. . Vuyo Zitumane, fondly known as “Mrs Fix It” by the media, due to her leadership style, turnaround plans and integrity. She has rescued many municipalities in the Eastern Cape by being appointed as an Administrator at Sundays River Municipality, Mnquma Local Municipality, King Sabata Dalindyebo Municipality, Enoch Mgijima and Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Municipality.She was seconded to Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Municipality by COGTA as part of section 154 intervention to turnaround Corporate Services Directorate, which she did successfully.

She has served as a Chief Executive of Amatola Water Board before joining the City of Tshwane as a Chief Operations Officer.. She has served and chaired many boards including JSE listed companies. Bachelor of Law degree (UFH); Bachelor of Arts Honors in Developmental Studies (cum laude/distinction) (UFH); MBA from Potchefstroom Business School and a string of other Leadership qualification from Stellenbosch and UCT Business School.

Vuyo Zitumane was as a BWA Regional Award Winner of Women in Government Awards in 2012, because of the contribution she has made in local government, her leadership capabilities and integrity she always upholds. A wife, sister, mother, grandmother and mother- in law to beautiful tribe of children and grand children.
